Robin Rowland, Chief Operating Officer, started with HEF’s Early Learning Programs in August 2019 after holding positions at UVA and several private childcare centers in Chesterfield and Henrico County. Robin is a passionate leader that enjoys improving systems that support early childhood education. Robin obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree from Liberty University in Teaching and Learning.
In her free time Robin enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her 13 grandchildren. Her favorite part about working for VAELP is being able to connect schools and private providers to offer better services to students and families.
Robin Wyatt, Director of Early Learning, started with HEF’s Early Learning Programs in April 2021 after managing multiple private child care centers in Chesterfield and Henrico counties. She received her Child Development Associate after taking classes at J. Sergeant Reynolds and the University of Cincinnati.
Robin lives in Chesterfield County with her husband Adam and two sons, Greyson and Tyler. When she’s not working, you can find her on the sideline of the soccer and lacrosse fields. Robin enjoys gardening, cooking and playing with her dog Goose. Her favorite part of joining the VAELP team is how welcoming and friendly everyone has been.
